On sale the tickets to watch the UCI Road World Championships challenge from the grandstands of the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari
Finally the fans can start cheering their champions live. By respecting safety distancing and wearing face masks, the cycling enthusiasts can watch the 2020 UCI World Road Championships in Imola, Emilia-Romagna.
On ticketone website the coveted personal tickets are on sale to enable you to watch the road races from the grandstands of the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari that will host the start and finish of all the UCI Road World Championships races. The warrant issued by the President of the Region Emilia-Romagna, Mr. Stefano Bonaccini, authorizes the presence of maximum 2,246 spectators in the grandstands of the iconic automobile racing circuit, where the Formula 1 and Moto Gp engines are usually roaring, in compliance with the regional anti-Covid guidelines.
The waiver was bestowed once the regional Health Policy Division – Personal Care, Health and Welfare General Management – has completed the examination of the Security Plan submitted by the Organising Committee that ensures full compliance with the anti-Covid measures in force, ranging from social distancing to mandatory use of face masks, from check-points to sanification as well as checks outside the venues, according to the regulations of the “Regional guidelines for the participation of the public in sport events.”
The Organising Committee has guaranteed its commitment in properly applying the protocol as well as monitoring its application and has put in place all the organisational measures to avoid gatherings during the access and the flow of the spectators to the venues, their staying in their assigned places and the access to the refreshments stations and conveniences. One staff member will be in charge of assisting in and monitoring of the application of the security measures every 150 spectators. The ticket sale will be only an online pre-sale, so that a copy of the lists of the names of the ticket purchasers will be kept for at least 14 days and made available to the health authorities to perform contact-tracing, if need be.
The Organisers are committed to security also outside the Autodrome. From Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th September, all gatherings must be avoided along the course. Time limits as to traffic flows will be in place and, along the 28.8km racing route, those who want to follow the race will have to respect the Covid-19 containment rules in force in Italy, i.e., to be distributed along the road, to avoid gatherings – especially in crucial places, namely on the Mazzolano and Cima Gallisterna climbs – and to wear face masks whenever respecting social distancing is difficult, to use the hand sanitizers provided by the Organising Committee.
There will be hundreds of million spectators watching tv to cheer their countrymen racing on the roads of Imola, Casalfiumanese, Borgo Tossignano, and Riolo Terme (, ndr).
